He completed his M. Sc. From Shivaji University, Kolhapur (1985). Availability of Sericulture Unit at the Malegaon Sheti Farm and Supportive inspiration from Grandsire Dr. D. G. Alias Appasaheb Pawar made him to complete research Ph. D. in “Use of Juvenoid Compounds for rearing the larval instars of silkworm, Bombyx mori L for commercial silk” through Shivaji University, Kolhapur (2004). He is the founder teacher for Career Oriented Programme (COP) in Sericulture, the three years course unique of it’s own in Shardabai Pawar Mahila Mahavidyalaya Shardanagar, Malegaon Baramati (affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University). Use of herbal compounds (Digoxin); Stevia Inulin; terpene compounds (including retinol) and acetone extractives of selected plants for rearing the fifth instar larvae of silkworm for commercial silk is the significant contribution of Vitthalrao B. Khyade. Use of Moracin and mulberry leaf extractives for cancer treatment is also part of his research interest. More than 150 publications in reputed national and international journals are on his credit. Fourteen of his publications are with Nobel Laureates, including May-Britt Moser, Edvard Moser and Aziz Scancar. Ten research scholars have been completed the Ph. D. In March, 2016, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore felicitated V. B. Khyade by “Scientist of the Year”. He is recipient of “Best Educationist Award for Talented Person: 2017” of “International Business Council, New Delhi” (3 June, 2017); “Nelson Mandella Excellence Award” (8 July, 2018); “The Bharatratna Dr. Radhakrishanan Gold Medal Award” on 22 September, 2018 of Global Economic Progress & Research Association (GEPRA). The “International Agency for Standards and Ratings” accepted the the concept “on mathematical approach for enzyme kinetics” established by Vitthalrao Bhimasha Khyade and felicitated with “World Championship Award – 2019”. Recently, the “Refacimento International” honoured and bestowed upon him “Intellectual of the Year 2019” memento and certificate of excellence for his meritorious academic achievements. He received 14 prestigious awards of best presentation. Prof. Dr. Süleyman KOZAT was born in 1968 in Malatya. He studied primary and secondary school in Malatya. He started Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Ankara University and he finished his bachelor’s degree in 1990. Immediately after graduating from university, he attended his postgraduate education at internal medicine of faculty of veterinary medicine in Ankara University. He became assistant professor in Van Yuzuncu Yil University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine. Then, he qualified his Associated Professor degree in December, 2008. He became professor on 20 February 2014 and he is working as a professor in the same department. Omid Ashayerizadeh is currently Associate Professor of poultry nutrition at Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources (GUASNR). He earned his Bachelor of animal science at Zabol University in Zabol, IR, in 2003, and his MSc & PhD in animal nutrition from the GUASNR, Gorgan in 2006 and 2014, respectively, working with Prof. Behrouz Dastar. In his thesis work he investigated the possibility of probiotic production from poultry waste and its effects on performance, microbial population of digestive tract, morphology of intestinal villi and hepatic IGF-I gene expression in broiler chickens. In 2015, Ashayerizadeh accepted an Assistant Professor position at the GUASNR, Department of Animal & Poultry Nutrition, where he has been since that time. He has received numerous research grants as principal investigator from government and private institutions in Iran. He published more than 50 articles (in Persian & En) and participated in national and international conferences with oral presentations. Also, two of his inventions have been patented nationally. Mohammadreza Mohammadabadi is the Professor of Animal Genetics and Biotechnology at the Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman (SBUK). He was born in 1974, in Bam, Iran and received his MSc degree in Animal Breeding and Genetics from Shiraz University, Fars, Iran in 1999 and PhD degree in Biology (Genetics) from the Vavilov Institute of General Genetics-Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia in 2005. Since then, he has been with the Department of Animal Science at the SBUK, Kerman, Iran. His research interests include Animal Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology. Dr. Mohammadabadi is the author and co-author of more than 350 peer reviewed journal and conference papers. He authored 10 books and translated more than 10 books from foreign languages (English and Russian) to Persian. His publications has received more than one thousands citations leading to Google Scholar h-index: 32, Scopus h-index: 16, Web of Science h-index: 14. Dr Sethi is actively involved in various international collaborations including member of Steering Committee for World Veterinary Association’s (WVA) project on Global Quality Standards for Veterinary Education, Project coordinator of Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) program on Genome Editing for Food Security and Environment Sustainability (GEFSES) in collaboration with University of McGill Canada and University of Calgary Canada and Co-investigator in the OIE funded twinning the Veterinary Programs at GADVASU and University of Calgary. He has guided 8 MVSc/MSc and six PhD student as major supervisor. He has published more than 100 original research articles in scientific journals, 110 abstracts and presented more than 20 Invited talks. He has liaised many research accomplishments and hosted scientific events with reputed research teams of University of Calgary, Canada, University of McGill, Canada and University of Saskatchewan, Canada. "Methane mitigation by better use local feed resources and agricultural waste treating" By Prof. Dr. DUONG NGUYEN KHANG, Ph.D., Nong Lam University of Ho Chi Minh City He received the PhD degree in Animal Nutrition and Management at Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in 2004. Five years after, he got the Associate Professor title. He also got Full Professor title in 2019. At present, he is a member of Professional Associations of Vietnamese Biogas, a member of academic trainings at Nong Lam University. He has published more than 80 national and international articles relating on animal methane emissions and biodigester. He found nutritional solutions balancing in emissions and utilization of carbon dioxide as well as reduction of methane: meat production ratios in cattle production. In Vietnam, he developed the humid tropical areas of sustainable system of integrated livestock, black soldier fly (for animal/bird manure treating, crop/food processing wastes treating…) and fuel production based on fractionation of high biomass crops, forage trees and water plants with emphasis on ruminant and recycling of wastes which is environmentally friendly by using the black soldier fly. It is based on agroecological principles of organic-based inputs and biological control of pests and diseases, the feeding systems for ruminants in mountain areas using sugar cane, leaves from trees and water plants has been introduced and developed to poor farmers. Beside that he also set up the low-cost plastic biodigester and improvements to the technology, over 500,000 units installed and paid for by farmers. It reduced methane production from animal wastes.

He started Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Selcuk University and he graduated his bachelor’s degree in June 1991. After graduating from university, he attended his postgraduate education at Pharmacology & Toxicology department Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Selcuk University. He graduated PhD in 1997. He became assistant professor at Selcuk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology. Then, he qualified his Associated Professor degree in 2000. He became professor on 15 May 2006 and he is still working as a professor in the same department. Baharak Aktardanesh is a Professor in the Small animal internal medicine at the Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman where she has been a veterinary medicine faculty member since 2005. She was the head of the small animal internal medicine ward from 2006 -2014 and the Vice Director of the clinical science department from 2014–2018, She held the small animal internal medicine residentship program from 2021 to upgrade the ward. Baharak completed his Ph.D. at Tehran University and her undergraduate studies at the Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. Her research interests lie in the area of Veterinary Infectious Diseases, Small animal internal medicine, Zoonosis, Vector-Borne Diseases, and Exotic animal and laboratory animal science. She has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of public health in research committees and published about 70 international research articles in these research fields. Baharak has served on roughly 100 workshop program committees and holds many educational courses each year. She presented her research results at 400 international and national conferences and attended in the Scientific Committee at 30 congresses. She wrote three professional book about “common dog and cat disease”, and “Small animal comprehensive pharmacopoeia (Dog & Cat)” and “ear disease in small animals “which has been widely used by students and practitioners.

Dr. Siddhartha Narayan Joardar completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from Bidhan Chandra Krishiviswavidyalaya (BCKV), in the year 1993. He subsequently moved to the Prestigious Institution-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (at Bareilly, U.P.), for pursuing P.G. (M.V.Sc.) and Ph.D. programmes in Veterinary Immunology. He joined West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences (WBUAFS) as Lecturer in the year 2000. Presently, he is working as Professor in the Department of Veterinary Microbiology. Abdulla Aaid Hadi was born in Al-Qadisiyah, the center-south of Iraq on the 30th August 1980. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Al-Qadisiyah. He pursued his Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Veterinary medicine, University of Basra, Basra Governorate, Iraq. He graduated with a First Class Honors in July 2004. In January 2005, he joined the veterinary hospital in Al-Qadisiyah as a veterinarian. Abdulla started his MSc program in the Faculty of Veterinary medicine, the University of Baghdad in August 2008 focusing his research interests in the areas of Anatomy and Histology. After completing his MSc program, he was employed as an assistant lecturer at the Department of Anatomy and Histology and is an academic staff of the University of Kufa, Faculty of Veterinary medicine to date. Dr. Tanveer Hussain, (Associate Professor, Department of Molecular Biology, VUP, Lahore) has completed D.V.M. in 2006 and M.Phil in Animal Breeding & Genetics in 2008 with distinction and received Ph.D. in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology in 2013. He has been engaged in teaching and research from last ten years as lecturer and assistant professor in University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore and currently in Virtual University of Pakistan. He has been a fellow researcher at Cornell University, NY, USA and at joint FAO/ IAEA Animal Production and Health Laboratory, Vienna, Austria. Currently, he is running two research projects funded by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan as PI and has completed two research projects funded by AAAS, USA and WWF-Pakistan. He has been Co-Principal Investigator of 7 and team member of 5 different research projects sponsored by national and international funding agencies. He has participated in 85 different conferences/ workshops and presented his work in USA, Brazil, Austria, New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, China, Turkey, Egypt, Sudan, Morocco, Kazakhstan, and UAE. 112 of his research abstracts have been accepted. He has guided 26 M.Phil students as supervisor and 52 M.Phil students as member of supervisory committee. Dr. Mir Ishfaq Nazir is currently working as Assistant Professor at Tamil Nadu Dr. J. He completed his Graduation in Bachelor of Fisheries Science in College of Fisheries, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir from 2009-2013, where he has been awarded as Gold medalist of Bechlors degree (B.F.Sc) for the batch 2009-2013. He has research experience in fish larval nutrition, and his research interest focuses on the different strategies for the development of larval fish feeds. Dr. Alexandre Rodrigues Silva is a veterinarian and PhD in vet sciences. Currently, He acts as an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Semiarid Region, in Brazil. There, he coordinates the team of the Laboratory of Animal Germplasm Conservation, developing research on canine and wild animals’ reproductive physiology and assisted reproductive techniques. Due to his highlighted scientific production, he also acts as a government researcher for the National Council of Scientific Development (CNPq) that is part of the National Ministry of Science and Technology in Brazil. Nowadays, he is a director-member of the Brazilian College of Animal Reproduction, where he also acts as Associated Editor for wildlife section at the Brazilian Journal of Animal Reproduction. Dr. Muhammad Mudassar Shahzad was the first scholar who submitted the PhD thesis at the age of 29 from Department of Zoology, Government College University Faisalabad within permissible time period. Soon after his degree completion, he was appointed as Assistant Professor in the University of Education, Lahore, Pakistan in 2018. He is honoured to win a gold medal on 19 December 2019 in the field of Fish nutrition as best fish nutritionist researcher from The Applied Zoological Society of Pakistan. Dr Prasanna Krishnan Subhadra completed her BVSc &AH., MVSc (Veterinary Pathology) and PhD from the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy. Started her career as Veterinary Surgeon in the Department of Animal Husbandry under Government of Kerala. Entered academic career as Assistant Professor in Mekelle University under the Ministry of Education in Ethiopia and played a key role in the establishment of Faculty of Veterinary Sciences in Mekelle University. She was selected as Head, Department of Veterinary Pathobiology and Infectious Diseases at Mekelle University and was instrumental in the development of disease diagnostic laboratory facilities for the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences. After the successful completion of two contracts with Ministry of Educations, joined Kerala Agricultural University as Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pathology at Pookode campus. Completed research projects related to animal rabies and fish pathology. Presented papers in international conferences like the ACVP (2006, Tucson, Arizona) and ICID (2012, Bangkok) and published more than fifty research papers in journals and proceedings. A few popular articles in leading Malayalam dailies and TV talk shows on awareness of animal diseases are also in her credit. She is a reviewer and editorial member for national and international journals. She has organised workshops, trainings and seminars including the First South Zone Conference of IAVP and co-coordinated the Kerala Veterinary Science Congress at Pookode, Wayanad. The Certificate course in Laboratory animal Medicine (Cert LAM), the first of its kind was initiated jointly with University of Guelph in Canada with her leadership qualities. She is currently the Course director of PG Diploma in Toxicologic Pathology (One Year technology enabled Distance learning programme) at KVASU. Dr. Sherif Ibrahim Ramadan is an associated professor in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Benha University, Egypt where he has been a faculty member since 2002. Dr. Devendra Pathak is a veterinary graduate from Madras Veterinary College Chennai (TANUVAS, Chennai), and obtained his master’s degree (Veterinary Anatomy) from CCSHAU, Hisar, and Ph.D. (Veterinary Anatomy) from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana. He earned the Junior Research Fellowship from ICAR, New Delhi during his M.V.Sc. and was awarded the best M.V.Sc. thesis award and medal by the Indian Association of Veterinary Anatomists (IAVA). Presently Dr. Pathak is working as a Senior Scientist, Veterinary Anatomy, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana. He has experience of more than 15 years of research, teaching, and extension and has guided 03 masters’ students as a major advisor and acted as co-advisor for 20 master’s and Ph.D. students. The area of his research interest has been reproductive morphology, hormonal receptors in relation to the level of circulating hormone and seasons, and testicular stem cells. Dr. Pathak was visiting scientist at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada for three months. He developed sketch and animation-based teaching aid for Veterinary Anatomy. He has published 115 research articles in journals of national and international repute, one book chapter, 08 extension articles, and 06 laboratory manuals. He earned three extramural research grants as a principal investigator (UGC, ICAR, and DST) and was associated with two research projects as a co-investigator. He has presented several research papers at various national and international conferences and has won the Young Scientist Award and 20 presentation/poster awards. Dr. Pathak also received an international travel grant for attending the conference at the University of Calgary, Canada. CS Mukhopadhyay, PhD, has been working as Senior Scientist at the College of Animal Biotechnology, GADVASU, Ludhiana since 2008. He has been involved in research and teaching under graduate, Masters and PhD students in the College and has earned three extra-murally funded research projects to his credit. He is regularly teaching the courses Animal Genomics (2+1); Introduction to Bioinformatics (2+1); Reproduction Biotechnology (2+1); Advances in Reproduction Biotechnology (2+1) etc. Dr Mukhopadhyay has been engaged in research works involving animal genomics and transcriptomics directed towards reproduction and disease resistance of cattle, buffalo and chicken. He has also undergone one 6 months advanced training programme on Marker Assisted Selection and Genomics at the Iowa State University (ISU)’ Ames, USA in 2011-12. He has been serving as one of the national level trainer on genome wide association studies and genomic selection in training programs in India. Dr Mukhopadhyay and his team have worked on bubaline micro-RNAs associated with diseases. He is currently working on parentage determination in bovines and canine. Dr. Santosh Koratkar is a veterinarian with seventeen years of expertise in classical virology. In December 2004, he received his M.V.Sc. in veterinary microbiology from Bombay Veterinary College, Mumbai (MAFSU, Nagpur). During his post-graduate studies, he worked on the project "Standardization of a new gamma-irradiated in-ovo Newcastle disease virus vaccine." He began his career as a veterinary officer (R&D) at the Poultry Diagnostic & Research Center (PDRC) of Venkateshwara Hatcheries Pvt. Ltd. in Pune (April 2005 to January 2007). His duties included examining avian disease outbreaks and characterizing the antigenic, pathogenic, and molecular characteristics of isolated viruses, with an emphasis on Newcastle Disease (ND), Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD), Infectious Bronchitis (IB), and Marke's Disease (MD) viruses. From February 2007 until September 2013, he worked as a Research Scientist-II at the National Institute of Virology (NIV) on a project named "Multisite epidemiological and virological monitoring of human influenza surveillance network in India phase I and II. He was a member of the NIV team that investigated the Avian Influenza (AI) H5N1 epidemic and conducted surveillance studies (wild migratory, wild resident birds, and domestic poultry) in India. He was involved in the investigation of the pandemic influenza 2009 epidemic, as well as the testing and clinical efficacy studies of the pandemic influenza A (H1N1) 2009 vaccine. He focused on pathogenicity studies of high pathogenic A(H5N1), pandemic H1N1 2009, and low pathogenic avian influenza (LPAI) viruses identified during the outbreak and surveillance (H5N1, H9N2, H4N6, and H11N1). Since 2013, he has been an Assistant Professor at Symbiosis School of Biological Sciences at Symbiosis International (Deemed University). He has completed five industry-sponsored research projects at SSBS and is now working on three independent research projects those are ongoing. Throughout his career, he has published over 25 research articles in peer-reviewed journals. In Hong Kong, he had the chance to attend the "5th Pasteur-Asia Virology Course" on (1) Viruses and Cancer and (2) Influenza. He also attended the Eliava Institute's 2nd Summer School, Training Course in Bacteriophage Research Methodology, in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Dr. Suleman received his Ph.D. degree in Preventive Veterinary Sciences (Parasitology and Molecular Biology), under the supervision of a well-known parasitologist, Prof. Zhu Xing-Quan, Lanzhou Veterinary Research Institute (LVRI), Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (GSCAAS), China. In his Ph.D. studies, he worked on molecular identification and mitochondrial genomes of trematode parasites of birds of Pakistan. During his stay in China, he got two Chinese scholarships; the GSCAAS scholarship and the Beijing Government Scholarship (BGS). After his Ph.D., he got training under the National Faculty Development Program (NFDP-2020) and Fundamentals of Project Management (FPM) arranged by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and now working as an IPFP fellow at the Department of Zoology, University of Swabi. He also served as a visiting faculty member, at Zoology Department of the University of Swabi, from Sept. 30, 2019 to Dec. 30, 2020. His research interest lies in parasitology, evolution, molecular systematics, host specificity, distribution, life history and mitochondrial genomes of helminth parasites of animals. Currently, his research team working on helminth parasites of vertebrates and arthropod vectors of disease-causing agents. He has supervised/co-supervised several undergraduate research students. Dr Norman Mukarati, BVSc (UZ), MSc (Lon. UK), DPhil (UZ) is an academic, researcher and a specialist wildlife veterinarian with over 27 years of extensive experience in the field involving African wildlife species. Dr Mukarati is currently Chairperson of Department of Clinical Veterinary Science, Faculty of Veterinary Science at University of Zimbabwe where he is also a Senior Lecturer teaching the course of Wildlife and Exotic Species Medicine to Clinical years (4th & 5th years) undergraduate veterinary students (from November 2010). His research interests are on the epidemiology of infectious animal and zoonotic diseases at the wildlife –livestock –human interface, and he has published on the subject. He is also keen on understanding health and diseases of farmed Nile crocodiles in which he has also published. Prior to his current posting, Dr Mukarati has held a number of posts in public service in Zimbabwe (Wildlife Unit, Department of Veterinary Services; Lecturer – Bindura University of Science Education) and with a stint in Botswana (Department of Wildlife & National Parks). He has also consulted for a number of organizations including Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO, UN), Campfire Association (Zimbabwe), Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF- Zimbabwe), Peace Parks Foundation (South Africa), International Crocodilian Farmers’ Association (ICFA, Paris, France), Zimbabwe Parks & Wildlife Management Authority, among many others. Dr. Md. Manzarul Islam completed his BVSc&AH degree in 2007 from College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Assam Agricultural University, Guwahati, Assam. He did his MVSc in the year 2010 in Livestock Production Management as major subject with Poultry Science as minor subject from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Islam was recipient of ICAR-Junior Research Fellowship during his MVSc. He also qualified for ICAR-Senior Research Fellowship for pursuing PhD at ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute. Dr. Avijit Haldar is presently working as Principal Scientist at ICAR- Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI) in Kolkata, West Bengal. Earlier, he worked as Senior Scientist at ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region, Tripura, India. At the initial stage of service life, Dr. Haldar severed as Lecturer at Allahabad Agricultural Institute, Naini, Uttar Pradesh and then Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, West Bengal. Dr. Avijit Haldar has more than 30 years professional working experience. Dr. Avijit Haldar completed B.V.Sc. & AH in 1991 and M.V.Sc. in 1993 from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Nadia, West Bengal and then Doctoral Program in 2004 from National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, Haryana. His significant research achievements include augmentation of productive and reproductive efficiency of livestock using different biotechniques, development of phenotypic descriptors and endocrine markers for multiple birth trait of Black Bengal goats, discovery of mutation in leptin receptor (LEPR) gene for attainment of late puberty in sheep, characterization and assessment of Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) in livestock, development and validation of enzyme immune assay (EIA) for the analysis of reproductive hormones in livestock, use of computer and electronic technologies in biometric identification of goat, traceability and monitoring of livestock animals etc. Dr. Haldar has bagged D. N. Borthakur Team Award for Outstanding Research in Farming Systems, DBT Overseas Associateship Award and many best oral presentation awards. Dr. Sonali D. Borkar is a dedicated veterinarian currently serving as an Assistant Professor at MAFSU, Nagpur, where she has been actively engaged since April 4, 2008. Dr. Borkar holds a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) and a Master's degree in Veterinary Biochemistry (M.V.Sc.) from MAFSU, Nagpur, awarded in 2002 and 2005 respectively. She has demonstrated her commitment to academic excellence by qualifying the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ASRB, New Delhi, in 2016. She is pursuing her PhD degree in Veterinary Biochemistry from D.S.V.C.K.V., Durg (C.G.).Throughout her career, she had contributed significantly to various research projects, demonstrating her expertise in the field. Notably, she served as the Principal Investigator for a project titled "Assessment of Nupro Supplementation on Growth Performance and Biochemical Parameters in Commercial Broilers," funded by Alltech Biotechnology, Bangalore.
