Omid Ashayerizadeh is currently Associate Professor of poultry nutrition at Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources (GUASNR). He earned his Bachelor of animal science at Zabol University in Zabol, IR, in 2003, and his MSc & PhD in animal nutrition from the GUASNR, Gorgan in 2006 and 2014, respectively, working with Prof. Behrouz Dastar. In his thesis work he investigated the possibility of probiotic production from poultry waste and its effects on performance, microbial population of digestive tract, morphology of intestinal villi and hepatic IGF-I gene expression in broiler chickens. In 2015, Ashayerizadeh accepted an Assistant Professor position at the GUASNR, Department of Animal & Poultry Nutrition, where he has been since that time. He has received numerous research grants as principal investigator from government and private institutions in Iran. Mohammadreza Mohammadabadi is the Professor of Animal Genetics and Biotechnology at the Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman (SBUK). He was born in 1974, in Bam, Iran and received his MSc degree in Animal Breeding and Genetics from Shiraz University, Fars, Iran in 1999 and PhD degree in Biology (Genetics) from the Vavilov Institute of General Genetics-Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia in 2005. Since then, he has been with the Department of Animal Science at the SBUK, Kerman, Iran. His research interests include Animal Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology. Dr. Mohammadabadi is the author and co-author of more than 350 peer reviewed journal and conference papers. He authored 10 books and translated more than 10 books from foreign languages (English and Russian) to Persian. Professor Olfat Anter Mahdy obtained a BSc in May 1984 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Cairo University, a master’s degree from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University and a PhD from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Cairo University Her research is focused on how the Parasitic infection affects fish and birds and the important role played between different hosts resulting in identification of the complete life cycles of parasitic diseases. "Methane mitigation by better use local feed resources and agricultural waste treating" By Prof. Dr. DUONG NGUYEN KHANG, Ph.D., Nong Lam University of Ho Chi Minh City He received the PhD degree in Animal Nutrition and Management at Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in 2004. Five years after, he got the Associate Professor title. He also got Full Professor title in 2019. At present, he is a member of Professional Associations of Vietnamese Biogas, a member of academic trainings at Nong Lam University. He has published more than 80 national and international articles relating on animal methane emissions and biodigester. He found nutritional solutions balancing in emissions and utilization of carbon dioxide as well as reduction of methane: meat production ratios in cattle production. In Vietnam, he developed the humid tropical areas of sustainable system of integrated livestock, black soldier fly (for animal/bird manure treating, crop/food processing wastes treating…) and fuel production based on fractionation of high biomass crops, forage trees and water plants with emphasis on ruminant and recycling of wastes which is environmentally friendly by using the black soldier fly. It is based on agroecological principles of organic-based inputs and biological control of pests and diseases, the feeding systems for ruminants in mountain areas using sugar cane, leaves from trees and water plants has been introduced and developed to poor farmers. Beside that he also set up the low-cost plastic biodigester and improvements to the technology, over 500,000 units installed and paid for by farmers. It reduced methane production from animal wastes.

Prof. Dr. Halis OGUZ was born in 1968 in Erdemli, Mersin. He studied primary and secondary school in Erdemli, Mersin. He started Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Selcuk University and he graduated his bachelor’s degree in June 1991. After graduating from university, he attended his postgraduate education at Pharmacology & Toxicology department Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Selcuk University. He graduated PhD in 1997. He became assistant professor at Selcuk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology. Then, he qualified his Associated Professor degree in 2000. He became professor on 15 May 2006 and he is still working as a professor in the same department. He has 30 scientific research articles that published in SCI journals, and he presented his proceedings 30 international congress. Additionally, he had authored six chapters in scientific books. According to google academic, his H Index is 23 and his i-10 Index is 28. Dr.N.Pazhanivel, M.V.Sc.,Ph.D., M.A.(Public Administration), PGDEVP., Diplomate, ICVP., FASAW, ICMR DHR IF, and Professor of Pathology, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai-600007. My area of research includes oncology, avian oncogenic viruses, avian pathology, cytopathology, histopathology, fish pathology and toxicopathology. He received 35 awards notably Outstanding Research Faculty in the Veterinary Discipline (Top 10 Knowledge Producers in India), IAVP-Dr. B.L. Purohit Memorial Best Toxico Pathologist Award, IAVP BEST Wildlife Pathologist Award, IAVP -Achievement Award for the Best Companion Animal Pathologist, IAVP Achievement Award for the Best Poultry Pathologist, Bharat Jyoti Award and Gang Mana Sharma Award. Dr. Yagoob Garedaghi was born in 1970 in Tabriz, Iran. In 1995, he graduated from Tabriz Branch, Islamic Azad University, Iran. He completed his specialty in Parasitology (PhD) at Islamic Azad University Tehran Science and Research Branch, Tehran, Iran between 2002 and 2007. In 1997, he was employed and started to work at the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Tabriz Branch, Islamic Azad University, Tabriz, Iran. At the national and international level, he has published 90 scientific papers, has written 3 books, and has received over 400 citations for his articles. His main research interest is Medical and Veterinary Parasitology and Epidemiology Sciences. He is already Head of the Department of Parasitology in Tabriz Branch, Islamic Azad University, Tabriz, Iran and active member of the Iranian Society of Parasitology (ISP). Worked as Field Officers Training Manager, Vocational and Rural Women in Federal Govt .Project of Pakistan Dairy Development Project on deputation from UVAS for one year. Affiliated with many organizations in veterinary and animal sciences at national and international level. Member of steering committee WWF. Developed extension material for CELDAC project Nestle Pakistan and handbooks for field work with farming community. Won Star Laureate Award on Women in Science and Technology,2008. Dr. Leticia E. Bartolomé del Pino, Spanish veterinarian and biotechnologist. Hold a PhD in Animal Health. Studied a Master of Epidemiology and Public Health and a Master of Veterinary Science Research. Recently finished a specialization course on infectious diseases. A broad international and multidisciplinary experience in research, working on very different projects on infectious diseases (animal and human) in European countries, food safety (FAO), as an international aid worker (Tanzania) and teaching (University level). Baharak Aktardanesh is a Professor in the Small animal internal medicine at the Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman where she has been a veterinary medicine faculty member since 2005. She was the head of the small animal internal medicine ward from 2006 -2014 and the Vice Director of the clinical science department from 2014–2018, She held the small animal internal medicine residentship program from 2021 to upgrade the ward. Baharak completed his Ph.D. at Tehran University and her undergraduate studies at the Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. Her research interests lie in the area of Veterinary Infectious Diseases, Small animal internal medicine, Zoonosis, Vector-Borne Diseases, and Exotic animal and laboratory animal science. Abdulla Aaid Hadi was born in Al-Qadisiyah, the center-south of Iraq on the 30th August 1980. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Al-Qadisiyah. He pursued his Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Veterinary medicine, University of Basra, Basra Governorate, Iraq. He graduated with a First Class Honors in July 2004. In January 2005, he joined the veterinary hospital in Al-Qadisiyah as a veterinarian. Dr. Tanveer Hussain, (Associate Professor, Department of Molecular Biology, VUP, Lahore) has completed D.V.M. in 2006 and M.Phil in Animal Breeding & Genetics in 2008 with distinction and received Ph.D. in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology in 2013. He has been engaged in teaching and research from last ten years as lecturer and assistant professor in University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore and currently in Virtual University of Pakistan. He has been a fellow researcher at Cornell University, NY, USA and at joint FAO/ IAEA Animal Production and Health Laboratory, Vienna, Austria. Currently, he is running two research projects funded by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan as PI and has completed two research projects funded by AAAS, USA and WWF-Pakistan. He has been Co-Principal Investigator of 7 and team member of 5 different research projects sponsored by national and international funding agencies. Dr. Mir Ishfaq Nazir is currently working as Assistant Professor at Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, India and before joining this University, he worked at Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi, India. He completed his Ph.D. in Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology at ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai, India from 2015-2018. He did his Masters in Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology at ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai, India from 2013-2015. He completed his Graduation in Bachelor of Fisheries Science in College of Fisheries, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir from 2009-2013, where he has been awarded as Gold medalist of Bechlors degree (B.F.Sc) for the batch 2009-2013. He has research experience in fish larval nutrition, and his research interest focuses on the different strategies for the development of larval fish feeds. Besides, he is working on the nutrigenomic responses of the important additives for improved growth, reproduction, and survival of commercially important fish species. Dr. Alexandre Rodrigues Silva is a veterinarian and PhD in vet sciences. Currently, He acts as an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Semiarid Region, in Brazil. There, he coordinates the team of the Laboratory of Animal Germplasm Conservation, developing research on canine and wild animals’ reproductive physiology and assisted reproductive techniques. Due to his highlighted scientific production, he also acts as a government researcher for the National Council of Scientific Development (CNPq) that is part of the National Ministry of Science and Technology in Brazil. Nowadays, he is a director-member of the Brazilian College of Animal Reproduction, where he also acts as Associated Editor for wildlife section at the Brazilian Journal of Animal Reproduction. Dr Bushra Jabeen Mehdi, acquired MPhil and PhD Degrees from Biochemistry Department, University of Karachi, Pakistan. His field of research is Biochemical Neuropharmacology. She was selected as Head, Department of Veterinary Pathobiology and Infectious Diseases at Mekelle University and was instrumental in the development of disease diagnostic laboratory facilities for the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences. After the successful completion of two contracts with Ministry of Educations, joined Kerala Agricultural University as Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pathology at Pookode campus. Completed research projects related to animal rabies and fish pathology. He began his career as a veterinary officer (R&D) at the Poultry Diagnostic & Research Center (PDRC) of Venkateshwara Hatcheries Pvt. Ltd. in Pune (April 2005 to January 2007). His duties included examining avian disease outbreaks and characterizing the antigenic, pathogenic, and molecular characteristics of isolated viruses, with an emphasis on Newcastle Disease (ND), Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD), Infectious Bronchitis (IB), and Marke's Disease (MD) viruses. From February 2007 until September 2013, he worked as a Research Scientist-II at the National Institute of Virology (NIV) on a project named "Multisite epidemiological and virological monitoring of human influenza surveillance network in India phase I and II. He was a member of the NIV team that investigated the Avian Influenza (AI) H5N1 epidemic and conducted surveillance studies (wild migratory, wild resident birds, and domestic poultry) in India. He was involved in the investigation of the pandemic influenza 2009 epidemic, as well as the testing and clinical efficacy studies of the pandemic influenza A (H1N1) 2009 vaccine. He focused on pathogenicity studies of high pathogenic A(H5N1), pandemic H1N1 2009, and low pathogenic avian influenza (LPAI) viruses identified during the outbreak and surveillance (H5N1, H9N2, H4N6, and H11N1). Since 2013, he has been an Assistant Professor at Symbiosis School of Biological Sciences at Symbiosis International (Deemed University). He has completed five industry-sponsored research projects at SSBS and is now working on three independent research projects those are ongoing. Throughout his career, he has published over 25 research articles in peer-reviewed journals. In Hong Kong, he had the chance to attend the "5th Pasteur-Asia Virology Course" on (1) Viruses and Cancer and (2) Influenza. He also attended the Eliava Institute's 2nd Summer School, Training Course in Bacteriophage Research Methodology, in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Dr. Mukesh Bhatt, a Veterinarian by profession is currently working as Scientist (Veterinary Microbiology) under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). In his Ph.D. studies, he worked on molecular identification and mitochondrial genomes of trematode parasites of birds of Pakistan. During his stay in China, he got two Chinese scholarships; the GSCAAS scholarship and the Beijing Government Scholarship (BGS). After his Ph.D., he got training under the National Faculty Development Program (NFDP-2020) and Fundamentals of Project Management (FPM) arranged by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and now working as an IPFP fellow at the Department of Zoology, University of Swabi. He also served as a visiting faculty member, at Zoology Department of the University of Swabi, from Sept. 30, 2019 to Dec. 30, 2020. His research interest lies in parasitology, evolution, molecular systematics, host specificity, distribution, life history and mitochondrial genomes of helminth parasites of animals. Dr Norman Mukarati, BVSc (UZ), MSc (Lon. UK), DPhil (UZ) is an academic, researcher and a specialist wildlife veterinarian with over 27 years of extensive experience in the field involving African wildlife species. Dr Mukarati is currently Chairperson of Department of Clinical Veterinary Science, Faculty of Veterinary Science at University of Zimbabwe where he is also a Senior Lecturer teaching the course of Wildlife and Exotic Species Medicine to Clinical years (4th & 5th years) undergraduate veterinary students (from November 2010). His research interests are on the epidemiology of infectious animal and zoonotic diseases at the wildlife –livestock –human interface, and he has published on the subject. He is also keen on understanding health and diseases of farmed Nile crocodiles in which he has also published. Prior to his current posting, Dr Mukarati has held a number of posts in public service in Zimbabwe (Wildlife Unit, Department of Veterinary Services; Lecturer – Bindura University of Science Education) and with a stint in Botswana (Department of Wildlife & National Parks). Dr. Shriramulu, currently working as Assistant Professor (Agricultural Engineering) at College of Agriculture, Gangavathi, University of Agricultural Sciences Raichur. I have completed my Graduation (Agricultural Engineering) from College of Agricultural Engineering, UAS Raichur (Karnataka) in 2015 and Post-Graduation (Processing and Food Engineering) from College of Agricultural Engineering, UAS Bengaluru in 2017. I also awarded ICAR-NDRI fellowship and completed PhD in Dairy Engineering from ICAR-NDRI, SRS Bengaluru. I am the recipient of Best Poster Award in Science Week and Best M.Tech Thesis Award. I also qualified the ICAR-NET exam in the subject of Agricultural Structure and Process Engineering. I attended various conferences and workshops and presented oral/posters and also published various article and abstracts.

Dr. Sonali D. Borkar is a dedicated veterinarian currently serving as an Assistant Professor at MAFSU, Nagpur, where she has been actively engaged since April 4, 2008. Dr. Borkar holds a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) and a Master's degree in Veterinary Biochemistry (M.V.Sc.) from MAFSU, Nagpur, awarded in 2002 and 2005 respectively. She has demonstrated her commitment to academic excellence by qualifying the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ASRB, New Delhi, in 2016. She is pursuing her PhD degree in Veterinary Biochemistry from D.S.V.C.K.V., Durg (C.G.).Throughout her career, she had contributed significantly to various research projects, demonstrating her expertise in the field. Notably, she served as the Principal Investigator for a project titled "Assessment of Nupro Supplementation on Growth Performance and Biochemical Parameters in Commercial Broilers," funded by Alltech Biotechnology, Bangalore. Her involvement in projects such as the DBT Star College Scheme Programme and research on improving conception rates in buffalo through innovative techniques highlights her multifaceted approach to addressing contemporary challenges in veterinary science. Her research prowess is further underscored by her publication record, with a total of 18 research papers to her credit, including papers with a NAAS score above 6.0. She has also made significant contributions to the scientific community by submitting 42 gene sequences to the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) and presenting 23 abstracts at various scientific forums and got awards in scientific presentations. Dr. Borkar leverages her expertise to educate and inspire a wider audience through her engaging and informative articles. With a diverse portfolio of 78 extension and popular articles, she effectively communicates complex veterinary concepts in accessible language, raising awareness about pressing issues in animal health and welfare. In recognition of her exemplary contributions to the field, Dr. Borkar has received prestigious awards such as the Krantiyoti Savitribai Phule Nariratna Award in 2013, Women Scientist Award in 2021 and Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Women’s Achiever’s Award in 2024 by Pashudhan Praharee. (1991) from Nagpur University, Nagpur, PhD (Veterinary Medicine) in 2010 from Post Graduate Institute of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Akola. Presently working as a Professor & Head, Department of Veterinary Medicine and Hospital Superintendent, Veterinary Clinical Complex, Post Graduate Institute of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Akola under Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University, Nagpur. Worked as a resident veterinarian at Equus Stud farm, Pune for 5 years, Attended foreign training on recent advances in stud management and equine health care practices at Arrowfield Stud Pvt. Dr. Prasad M. G. is an Assistant Professor (C) in the Division of Livestock Products Technology at Veterinary College, Gadag, Karnataka. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Hassan Veterinary College, KVAFSU, Bidar, and a Master's degree in Livestock Products Technology from Bengaluru Veterinary College, KVAFSU, Bidar, includes a Post-Graduation Diploma in Animal Welfare from Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU), He earned his Ph.D. in Livestock Products Technology from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, with a focus on exploring omic approaches to understand the impact of transportation and slaughter stress on animal welfare and meat quality. Dr. Prasad's research journey encompasses various facets of meat science, post harvest technology, proteomics, metabolomics and bioinformatics studies including investigating the physico-chemical and textural characteristics of spent goat meat and the bioconversion and performance of Black Soldier Fly in converting organic poultry waste into high-value products. He has received numerous awards for his research, including Best Oral Presentation and Best Poster Presentation awards at prestigious international symposiums. With a keen interest in sharing knowledge, Dr. Prasad has authored several research articles published in renowned journals like Poultry Science, Waste and Biomass Valorizatuon and Journal of Meat Science etc.. He is also actively involved as a reviewer for national and international journals, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Prasad is committed to continuous learning and skill enhancement. He has undertaken various training programs and workshops on topics ranging from digital assessment methodologies to advanced preservation techniques for muscle foods. As an active member of professional associations like the Indian Meat Science Association and the Karnataka Veterinary Council, he remains dedicated to promoting excellence in the field of veterinary science and livestock products technology.
