Omid Ashayerizadeh is currently Associate Professor of poultry nutrition at Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources (GUASNR). He earned his Bachelor of animal science at Zabol University in Zabol, IR, in 2003, and his MSc & PhD in animal nutrition from the GUASNR, Gorgan in 2006 and 2014, respectively, working with Prof. Behrouz Dastar. In his thesis work he investigated the possibility of probiotic production from poultry waste and its effects on performance, microbial population of digestive tract, morphology of intestinal villi and hepatic IGF-I gene expression in broiler chickens. In 2015, Ashayerizadeh accepted an Assistant Professor position at the GUASNR, Department of Animal & Poultry Nutrition, where he has been since that time. Mohammadreza Mohammadabadi is the Professor of Animal Genetics and Biotechnology at the Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman (SBUK). He was born in 1974, in Bam, Iran and received his MSc degree in Animal Breeding and Genetics from Shiraz University, Fars, Iran in 1999 and PhD degree in Biology (Genetics) from the Vavilov Institute of General Genetics-Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia in 2005. Since then, he has been with the Department of Animal Science at the SBUK, Kerman, Iran. His research interests include Animal Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology. Dr. Mohammadabadi is the author and co-author of more than 350 peer reviewed journal and conference papers. He authored 10 books and translated more than 10 books from foreign languages (English and Russian) to Persian. Professor Olfat Anter Mahdy obtained a BSc in May 1984 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Cairo University, a master’s degree from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University and a PhD from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Cairo University Her research is focused on how the Parasitic infection affects fish and birds and the important role played between different hosts resulting in identification of the complete life cycles of parasitic diseases. "Methane mitigation by better use local feed resources and agricultural waste treating" By Prof. Dr. DUONG NGUYEN KHANG, Ph.D., Nong Lam University of Ho Chi Minh City He received the PhD degree in Animal Nutrition and Management at Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in 2004. Five years after, he got the Associate Professor title. He also got Full Professor title in 2019. At present, he is a member of Professional Associations of Vietnamese Biogas, a member of academic trainings at Nong Lam University. He has published more than 80 national and international articles relating on animal methane emissions and biodigester. He found nutritional solutions balancing in emissions and utilization of carbon dioxide as well as reduction of methane: meat production ratios in cattle production. In Vietnam, he developed the humid tropical areas of sustainable system of integrated livestock, black soldier fly (for animal/bird manure treating, crop/food processing wastes treating…) and fuel production based on fractionation of high biomass crops, forage trees and water plants with emphasis on ruminant and recycling of wastes which is environmentally friendly by using the black soldier fly. It is based on agroecological principles of organic-based inputs and biological control of pests and diseases, the feeding systems for ruminants in mountain areas using sugar cane, leaves from trees and water plants has been introduced and developed to poor farmers. Beside that he also set up the low-cost plastic biodigester and improvements to the technology, over 500,000 units installed and paid for by farmers. It reduced methane production from animal wastes.

Prof. Dr. Halis OGUZ was born in 1968 in Erdemli, Mersin. He studied primary and secondary school in Erdemli, Mersin. He started Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Selcuk University and he graduated his bachelor’s degree in June 1991. After graduating from university, he attended his postgraduate education at Pharmacology & Toxicology department Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Selcuk University. He graduated PhD in 1997. He became assistant professor at Selcuk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology. Then, he qualified his Associated Professor degree in 2000. He became professor on 15 May 2006 and he is still working as a professor in the same department. He has 30 scientific research articles that published in SCI journals, and he presented his proceedings 30 international congress. Additionally, he had authored six chapters in scientific books. According to google academic, his H Index is 23 and his i-10 Index is 28. Dr.N.Pazhanivel, M.V.Sc.,Ph.D., M.A.(Public Administration), PGDEVP., Diplomate, ICVP., FASAW, ICMR DHR IF, and Professor of Pathology, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai-600007. My area of research includes oncology, avian oncogenic viruses, avian pathology, cytopathology, histopathology, fish pathology and toxicopathology. He received 35 awards notably Outstanding Research Faculty in the Veterinary Discipline (Top 10 Knowledge Producers in India), IAVP-Dr. B.L. Purohit Memorial Best Toxico Pathologist Award, IAVP BEST Wildlife Pathologist Award, IAVP -Achievement Award for the Best Companion Animal Pathologist, IAVP Achievement Award for the Best Poultry Pathologist, Bharat Jyoti Award and Gang Mana Sharma Award. Dr. Yagoob Garedaghi was born in 1970 in Tabriz, Iran. In 1995, he graduated from Tabriz Branch, Islamic Azad University, Iran. He completed his specialty in Parasitology (PhD) at Islamic Azad University Tehran Science and Research Branch, Tehran, Iran between 2002 and 2007. In 1997, he was employed and started to work at the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Tabriz Branch, Islamic Azad University, Tabriz, Iran. At the national and international level, he has published 90 scientific papers, has written 3 books, and has received over 400 citations for his articles. His main research interest is Medical and Veterinary Parasitology and Epidemiology Sciences. He is already Head of the Department of Parasitology in Tabriz Branch, Islamic Azad University, Tabriz, Iran and active member of the Iranian Society of Parasitology (ISP). Worked as Field Officers Training Manager, Vocational and Rural Women in Federal Govt .Project of Pakistan Dairy Development Project on deputation from UVAS for one year. Affiliated with many organizations in veterinary and animal sciences at national and international level. Member of steering committee WWF. Developed extension material for CELDAC project Nestle Pakistan and handbooks for field work with farming community. Won Star Laureate Award on Women in Science and Technology,2008. Dr. Leticia E. Bartolomé del Pino, Spanish veterinarian and biotechnologist. Hold a PhD in Animal Health. Studied a Master of Epidemiology and Public Health and a Master of Veterinary Science Research. Recently finished a specialization course on infectious diseases. A broad international and multidisciplinary experience in research, working on very different projects on infectious diseases (animal and human) in European countries, food safety (FAO), as an international aid worker (Tanzania) and teaching (University level). Baharak Aktardanesh is a Professor in the Small animal internal medicine at the Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman where she has been a veterinary medicine faculty member since 2005. She was the head of the small animal internal medicine ward from 2006 -2014 and the Vice Director of the clinical science department from 2014–2018, She held the small animal internal medicine residentship program from 2021 to upgrade the ward. He completed his Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) at the College of Fisheries, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir, from 2009 to 2013, where he was awarded the Gold Medal for the B.F.Sc. batch of 2009–2013. He has research experience in fish larval nutrition, and his research interests focus on various strategies for the development of larval fish feeds. He is also working on the nutrigenomic responses to important feed additives for improving the growth, reproduction, and survival of commercially important fish species.

For example, in his ongoing project, different herbal additives are being evaluated as replacements for commercial additives such as choline in species such as shrimp. Dr. Muhammad Mudassar Shahzad was the first scholar to submit his Ph.D. thesis at the age of 29 from the Department of Zoology, Government College University Faisalabad, within the permissible time period. Soon after completing his degree, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the University of Education, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2018.

He was honored with a Gold Medal on December 19, 2019, in the field of Fish Nutrition as the Best Fish Nutritionist Researcher by the Applied Zoological Society of Pakistan. He has 36 publications with a combined impact factor of more than 40 and 11 submissions in internationally recognized journals, with more than 60 citations.He completed a project titled “SRGP,” funded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), and developed a Fish Development Laboratory in the Department of Zoology. His Bachelor’s thesis was titled “Examination of the Phenotypic and Genotypic Parameters of the Basic Selection Characteristics of Sheep from the Pleven Blackhead Breed.” In 2008, he obtained a Master’s degree in Sheep and Goat Farming, with a thesis titled “Evaluation of the Impact That Certain Factors Exert on the Basic Selection Characteristics of Sheep from the Pleven Blackhead Breed.”

Dr. Prasanna Krishnan Subhadra completed her B.V.Sc. & A.H., M.V.Sc. (Veterinary Pathology), and Ph.D. from the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy. She started her career as a Veterinary Surgeon in the Department of Animal Husbandry under the Government of Kerala. She entered her academic career as an Assistant Professor at Mekelle University under the Ministry of Education in Ethiopia and played a key role in the establishment of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences at Mekelle University. She was selected as the Head of the Department of Veterinary Pathobiology and Infectious Diseases at Mekelle University and was instrumental in the development of disease diagnostic laboratory facilities for the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences. After the successful completion of two contracts with the Ministry of Education, she joined Kerala Agricultural University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pathology at the Pookode campus. She completed research projects related to animal rabies and fish pathology.

She presented papers at international conferences such as the ACVP (2006, Tucson, Arizona) and ICID (2012, Bangkok) and has published more than fifty research papers in journals and proceedings. A few popular articles in leading Malayalam dailies and TV talk shows on awareness of animal diseases are also to her credit. She is a reviewer and editorial member for national and international journals. She has organized workshops, training programmes, and seminars, including the First South Zone Conference of IAVP, and co-coordinated the Kerala Veterinary Science Congress at Pookode, Wayanad. The Certificate Course in Laboratory Animal Medicine (Cert LAM), the first of its kind, was initiated jointly with the University of Guelph in Canada under her leadership.

She is currently the Course Director of the PG Diploma in Toxicologic Pathology (One-Year Technology-Enabled Distance Learning Programme) at KVASU. Being the Vice President of the Indian College of Veterinary Pathologists (ICVP), she also acts as the Coordinator of the ICVP Training Programme. Hafiz Muhammad Rizwan obtained his D.V.M., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. His research focuses on (1) the epidemiology of parasites, (2) the seroepidemiology of fasciolosis, (3) the association of phytominerals with gastrointestinal parasites, and (4) ticks and tick-borne diseases.During his Ph.D., he joined Dr. Saeijs’ group at UC Davis, USA, to enhance his skills in molecular biology while studying the parasite Toxoplasma gondii. His aim is to reduce the spread of parasites of public and veterinary importance and develop new diagnostic techniques.

Dr. Rahila M. P. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dairy Chemistry at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. She has brilliant academic and research expertise in the field of Dairy Chemistry. She secured the first rank at the university (ICAR-NDRI) level in her Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Technology in Dairy Chemistry. She was the recipient of the MILMA Medal for the Best Outgoing Student in B.Tech. from the College of Dairy Science and Technology, Mannuthy, during the year 2011.Subsequently, she received the INSPIRE Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, for her Ph.D. programme and qualified for the ICAR Senior Research Fellowship in 2014.

She has a good blend of work experience with the Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation, Dairy Development Department (Kerala), and Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University.She has worked on very pertinent research problems, such as extending the shelf life of ghee using natural antioxidants and improving the texture of low-fat dahi using an enzymatic process. She has published her research findings in prestigious national and international journals and received several accolades for her endeavours in the field of Dairy Chemistry.

Dr. C. S. Mukhopadhyay, Ph.D., has been working as a Senior Scientist at the College of Animal Biotechnology, GADVASU, Ludhiana, since 2008. He has been serving as one of the national-level trainers on genome-wide association studies and genomic selection in training programmes in India.He and his team have worked on bubaline microRNAs associated with diseases. Dr. Santosh Koratkar is a veterinarian with seventeen years of expertise in classical virology. In December 2004, he received his M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Microbiology from Bombay Veterinary College, Mumbai (MAFSU, Nagpur). During his postgraduate studies, he worked on the project titled “Standardization of a New Gamma-Irradiated In-Ovo Newcastle Disease Virus Vaccine.”He began his career as a Veterinary Officer (R&D) at the Poultry Diagnostic & Research Center (PDRC) of Venkateshwara Hatcheries Pvt. Ltd. in Pune, where he worked from April 2005 to January 2007. His duties included investigating avian disease outbreaks and characterizing the antigenic, pathogenic, and molecular characteristics of isolated viruses, with an emphasis on Newcastle Disease (ND), Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD), Infectious Bronchitis (IB), and Marek’s Disease (MD) viruses.

From February 2007 until September 2013, he worked as a Research Scientist-II at the National Institute of Virology (NIV) on a project titled “Multisite Epidemiological and Virological Monitoring of Human Influenza Surveillance Network in India: Phase I and II.” He was a member of the NIV team that investigated the Avian Influenza (AI) H5N1 epidemic and conducted surveillance studies involving wild migratory birds, wild resident birds, and domestic poultry in India.He was involved in the investigation of the 2009 pandemic influenza epidemic, as well as testing and clinical efficacy studies of the pandemic influenza A (H1N1) 2009 vaccine. He focused on pathogenicity studies of highly pathogenic A(H5N1), pandemic H1N1 2009, and low-pathogenic avian influenza (LPAI) viruses identified during outbreaks and surveillance, including H5N1, H9N2, H4N6, and H11N1.

Since 2013, he has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Symbiosis School of Biological Sciences, Symbiosis International (Deemed University). His significant research achievements include the augmentation of productive and reproductive efficiency of livestock using different biotechnologies; development of phenotypic descriptors and endocrine markers for the multiple-birth trait of Black Bengal goats; discovery of a mutation in the leptin receptor (LEPR) gene associated with the attainment of late puberty in sheep; characterization and assessment of Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) in livestock; development and validation of enzyme immunoassays (EIA) for the analysis of reproductive hormones in livestock; and the use of computer and electronic technologies in the biometric identification, traceability, and monitoring of livestock animals.

Dr. Haldar has received the D. N. Borthakur Team Award for Outstanding Research in Farming Systems, the DBT Overseas Associateship Award, and several Best Oral Presentation Awards. Prof. M. Subhan Qureshi earned his DVM, MSc Hons, and PhD from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad in 1998. After 22 years with the provincial livestock department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, he transitioned to academia at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar. His research spans animal health, reproduction, entrepreneurship, and biorisk management. Prof. Qureshi has authored 65 impact factor articles, 3 book chapters, and 15 books. He has pioneered research in stress physiology and animal welfare, motivating faculty and students to secure research grants that address local challenges and explore business and industrial aspects of livestock and poultry production. As the founder of Dairy Science Park, Prof. Qureshi has promoted the Triple Helix Model of Good Governance, fostering collaboration among academia, industry, and government. This initiative aims to generate exportable surpluses and create decent employment across the livestock value chain. He also conceptualised the establishment of Livestock Technoparks in Peshawar and Quetta under FAO-UN and ITC-UN consultancies, respectively, and the Dairy Science Park Cairo at the request of ASRT-Egypt. Dr. Roel T. Calagui, born on September 21, 1982, is a dedicated academic and researcher currently serving as a Professor III at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Cagayan State University. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Sciences, majoring in Animal Science, from the Central Graduate School of Isabela State University in 2019. His dissertation focused on the phytochemical, toxicological, and anthelmintic properties of Chrysophyllum cainito and Psidium guajava extracts, for which he received the Best in Research Award at the Doctorate Level.

Dr. Calagui also holds a Master of Public Health from Cagayan State University (2010) and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the same institution (2005). He has contributed to the field of veterinary medicine through numerous research publications, including studies on phytochemical properties, antibiotic residues in poultry, and the efficacy of plant extracts as anthelmintics.

His leadership roles at the university include serving as the Chairman of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and previously as College Dean and Program Chair. Dr. Sourabh Deori is a Senior Scientist specializing in Animal Reproduction and Gynaecology at the ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region, Umiam, Meghalaya, India. Ihsanullah Shirani is an Assistant Professor and PhD scholar in Preventive Veterinary Medicine at Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU), Wuhan, China. He holds a D.V.M. from Nangarhar University, Afghanistan, and an M.Sc. in Preventive Veterinary Medicine from Huazhong Agricultural University.Since September 2012, he has been working as an Assistant Professor in Animal Infectious Diseases and Public Health at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Nangarhar University, Afghanistan, where he also advises graduate students. He is a member of the Research Committee of the Veterinary Science Faculty at Nangarhar University.

His research interests focus on basic and applied research in bovine infectious diseases and zoonoses, particularly epidemiology and etiology, pathogenesis and immunology, vaccine development, and diagnostic techniques. Dr. P. N. Thakur is a veterinary scientist and academic associated with the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU), Nagpur.
