His principal current interests include: alcoholic liver disease in all of its various presentations, chronic hepatitis B, chronic hepatitis C, fatty liver disease, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC), primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), secondary biliary cirrhosis, chronic active liver disease and cirrhosis, metabolic liver diseases to include alpha-I antitrypsin deficiency, hemochromatosis, the various porphyria's, Alagille 'disease, drug induced liver disease, granulomatous liver disease, Wilson's disease, inborn errors of metabolism that affect the liver, Byler's disease, Familial Benign Recurrent Cholestasis, Polycystic Liver disease, cirrhosis associated with Cystic Fibrosis, Caroli's disease, and other heritable liver diseases. Because of his interest in fatty liver disease and its various subtypes, his office is equipped with the most complete abdominal ultrasound equipment using the Super Sonic (MACH 30) imaging system with Shear Wave Elastography and the MACH V4 software to quantify hepatic fibrosis, stiffness, and steatosis, characteristics required to appropriately classify individual subtypes of generic fatty liver disease. This equipment eliminates the need for liver biopsy in greater than 85% of the cases. His office is 1 of the 5 facilities in the USA to have this equipment. I completed my PhD Thesis in 2002 (“The Idea of Euthanasia in Contemporary Bioethics”) under the supervision of Prof. T. N. Pelegrinis. I have been teaching at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens since 2004 (first as appointed and then as adjunct lecturer). In 2009 I became a Lecturer in Applied Ethics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (School of Philosophy / Faculty of Philosophy, Pedagogy, Psychology / Department of Philosophy), and in 2014 I was elected an Assistant Professor in the same field. Since 2015 I am the Director of the NKUA Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory and the Head of the Greek Unit of the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics (Haifa). I am also a board member of the NKUA Ethics and Deontology Committee. I have authored four books in Greek, edited one in English, co-edited four in Greek, three in English and one in Serbian

Dr. Almottesembellah Gaiz is an experienced Associate Lecturer with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. He have experienced on laboratory haematology with variable technical skills on blood film screening, bone marrow biopsy, haemoglobinopathy, flow-cytometry, platelet function, coagulation assay, automation, and phlebotomy. He is a medical doctor and practiced through my internship (two years) on most of the medical specialties such as Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Dermatology and Emergency Medicine. He was Skilled in Medicine, Education, Clinical Research, and Data Analysis. He has done lot of research through my Ph.D. focusing on Hematological Pathology Program from Griffith University. It was all about prevention of thrombotic risk in diabetes by antioxidants.

Asst. Prof . Dr. Syamantak Mani Tripathi is in the Department of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology, College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Chhattisharh Kamdhenu Vishwavidalya, Durg-491001 (Chhattisgarh) India. He has over ten years experience with hand-on applications including teams of researchers and technicians in the Pharmacology & Toxicology and Biotechnology division. His training and experience also includes applied animal investigation skills as a research scholar in the field of pesticide induced immunotoxicology and safety pharmacology studies. He has worked in multiple successful research projects funded by Indian Council of Agricultural Research and Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, supporting clinical development and leading to strong regulatory submissions for pesticides uses in agriculture. His academic work was focused on “Immuno-genotoxicity of organophosphorous insecticide ‘acephate’ in white leghorn birds”. Asst. Prof. Dr. Jaivik V. Shah obtained his Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from Department of Chemistry, School of Sciences, Gujarat University, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India in 2012. Prof. Dr. Prerna Agarwal takes keen interest in improvising teaching learning experience for students and teachers alike as well as in applied physiology in chronic non-communicable diseases, obesity, diabetes mellitus, etc. Her areas of work so far include use of concept maps as a tool of assessment in the Indian medical education context, anemia in obesity, medical professionalism, sleep and face recognition memory, and diabetes mellitus type 2.

Prof. Dr. Saphia Al Aitte obtained master’s degree in 1989, specializing in pollution, in the year during which these researches were published in local journals in Iraq, because during the siege period, theywere not able to publish in any international journal. she obtained a doctorate degree in the field of physiological pollution of aquatic organisms. Victus Bobonkey Samlafo joined the University of Education, Winneba in 2004 with a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry as a Lecturer in the then Science Education Department. After two-year probation, Victus was confirmed as a Lecturer in the Science Education Department in 2006. Within a period of five years after probation, Victus had both a PhD in Nuclear and Radiochemistry and was also promoted to the rank of Senior Lecturer.
