Dr. Suhas Sampat Kharat, currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Health, Frederick, MD, USA. He has reviewed articles for many journals, some of them are Cancer Letters, Plos One and BMC Genetics, Nutrients, FASEB Journal, PeerJ, Cellular Reprogramming. His doctoral study was carried out in Signal Transduction Laboratory at the National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi. The major focus of his thesis was investigating the combinatorial effect of various post-translational modifications in regulating the stability and functions of tumor suppressor BLM helicase and p53. This project focused on elucidating the role of SCF-Fbw7 E3 ligase in regulating the stability of BLM helicase and p53. Apart from his Ph.D. thesis work, he has been fortunate to work on multiple collaborative projects within the lab as well as with various research groups from other institutions, which has provided him an excellent opportunity to develop a good understanding of multiple aspects of genome integrity and its role in tumorigenesis. His current project as a postdoctoral fellow at National Cancer Institute, NIH focusses on epigenetic regulation of replication fork stability and chemoresistance and his current study has identified the role of replication fork stability in mediating chemoresistance in BRCA2 deficient cells.

Adrián Pablo Hunis, MD, is an Argentine medical oncologist, academic, and clinical researcher with a long-standing career in oncology, medical education, and cancer research. He graduated from the School of Medicine of the National University of La Plata, Argentina, in 1973 and later completed postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Ramos Mejía Hospital in Buenos Aires. He subsequently specialized in Medical Oncology through advanced training programs at the Universidad del Salvador and the Central Military Hospital in Buenos Aires. Dr. Hunis also completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the Miami Cancer Institute in Miami, Florida, United States. Throughout his career, Dr. Hunis has held several academic and leadership positions in Argentine medical institutions. He has served as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the School of Medicine of the University of Buenos Aires and as Full Professor of Oncology at Maimonides University. In addition, he has directed the Career Program for Medical Specialists in Oncology at the University of Buenos Aires, contributing significantly to postgraduate medical training in oncology. Dr. Hunis has been actively involved in clinical research and international collaborative studies, particularly in breast cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, and cancer-related pain. He has participated as a principal or collaborating investigator in multicenter Phase II and Phase III clinical trials and has contributed to research initiatives associated with international institutions, including Oxford University.
