Ms. Jeeva Subramaniam is currently working as Lecturer, College of Nursing at National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) Bangalore, Karnataka. India from 2012 onwards. She completed her graduation in 2003 from The TamilNadu Dr. M.G.R.Medical University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu and post graduation from R.A.K College of Nursing, University of Delhi in 2008. Presently she is pursuing Ph.D in nursing from National consortium for Ph.D in Nursing by Indian Nursing council (INC) and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Bengaluru. She was awarded “Sevaratna Dr. R.Venkatesalu Gold Medal” for academic excellence in B.Sc. Nursing. The “President of India Gold Medal” was awarded to her for academic excellence during Master of Nursing Programme. She has been involved in teaching students at baccalaureate and post graduate nursing programmes. She has additional training and certifications in relation to Master trainer for training of Nurses on HIV /AIDS and ART under Global Fund to Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis & Malaria.(GFATM Project), Master trainer for training of Nurses on Essential Newborn care, Trainer for training of Nurses for facility based new born care, National faculty training course on Neonatal ADVANCED Life support, Facilitator for conducting workshops on Neonatal Resuscitation Programme, Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Management and Trainer for training of Nurses on Tuberculosis under “The global fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria .(GFATM Project). She is also holds memberships in TNAI, IANN and SOCHINI. She has significant published works to her credit. She has attended and presented papers in various workshops and conferences at State, National and International level.
