Dr Shahab Uddin graduated from Sylhet M.A.G Osmani, Medical College in 1993, Bangladesh. He completed his four years of postgraduate training in pediatrics at King Fahad Specialist Hospital, Buraidah, K.S.A. He has more than 20 yrs experience in Pediatric, mainly Pediatric critical care, Pediatric Cardiac intensive care, Neonatal intensive care, health care quality and patients safety, health care accreditation, He was awarded the postgraduate membership from Royal college of pediatrics and child health, MRCPCH(UK), Membership from Royal college of Edinburgh, Royal college of Physician and Surgeon, Glasgow. He received his Team STEPPS master trainer certification from the Department of Defense and the Agency of Healthcare Research, USA in January 2016. He has also completed many certification courses on healthcare quality and patient safety from many institutes, such as the Institute of Healthcare Improvement, University of Florida, UNSW Australia, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He got the fellowship, FISQua, from International society of healthcare Quality, Ireland in 2016. Dr. Mohammed have great interest in Biostatistics & Medical research, received many certificates from Jhons Hopkins University, USA. He had the pleasure to be “The population health leadership graduation “I-CAN Scholar†from, Institute of health care improvement, May 2016.
Mohammed Shahab Uddin Research Interests are to create a high standard critical care service by transforming evidence based medicine into practice, reduce healthcare waste by implementing lean & Six Sigma methodologies that will lead a high quality service and ensure a safety environment for the healthcare customers as well remodeling health care services to data driven health care industries focus on “Pay for Performanceâ€. Lean methodology, Six Sigma, and process Improvement his area of interest.
