Shahjada Selim did MBBS degree from Rajshahi Medical College, Bangladesh; MD (Endocrinology & Metabolism), BIRDEM Academy under Dhaka University. He has been awarded with FACE in 2016 by ACE and FRSM in 2018 by RSM. He is the organizing secretary of Bangladesh Endocrine Society (BES) and Coordinator of 1st BES-MAYO Advanced Course in Endocrinology 2019. He is now working as assistant professor in the department of endocrinology, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Dr Selim has keen interest in clinical research in diabetes & its complications, prevention of diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis and sexual dysfunctions. He has more than 51 articles published in the international reputed journals. He also published four books in Bengali on diabetes and thyroid disorders.
