Dr Rohit A works as Assistant Professor in Department Of Community Medicine at JJM Medical College, Davanagere, India. He has obtained his MBBS degree and MD in Community Medcine from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences , Karnataka, India. He has presented many papers in International and National conference. Dr Rohit has keen interest in research and is working on University funded research project. He has also been part of team that implemented World bank funded Non Communicable Disease project in Davanagere district[ Diabetes, Hypertension and cancer cervix]

Dr Rohit is interested in the field of Non Communicable Disease intervention [diabetes, hypertension and cancer cervix ] at primary health care level. He has also worked as resource person for revised guidelines of prevention to parent to child transmission of HIV and operational research of tuberculosis
