Dr. Yimer Mihretie Adugna is a Lecturer and junior researcher in the department of Human Nutrition at Kotebe Metropolitan University, Ethiopia. He obtained Bachelor of Science in food science and postharvest technology in Haramaya University, Ethiopia and masters of Science in postharvest technology in Haramaya University, Ethiopia. He worked as lecture in the department of food science and nutrition for five years in Jigjiga University. In his stay of Jigjiga University, he worked many research projects and also he was certified by teaching methodology and statistical software training. He serves as editorial member and as reviewer of many international journals.
Dr. Yimer Mihretie Adugna is interested to many fields of research: food science and nutrition, food processing, human nutrition, food chemistry, postharvest technology, fruit and vegetable processing, meat and meat product processing, nutrition applications, food security, malnutrition, food microbiology and dairy technology. His earlier research project was focused on traditional food processing like making of Injera from different cereals and pulses, and cheese making from camel milk.
