Dr. Balkishan Sharma is a Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at Sri Aurobindo Medical College and P. G. Institute, Indore (Madhya Pradesh) India. He secured I Rank (M. Sc. Gold medalist) in Master of Statistics University examination of 1985. Additionally, He obtained a postgraduate degree of Master of Mathematics along with Bachelor of Education. He earned a Ph. D. degree awarded by Vikram University, Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh).He completed basic course in Medical Education Technology and have been invited as a resource person for various National level workshops. Twenty-six research papers have been published so far in international and national indexed journals. He has been served as an editor for six indexed journals and has been reviewing articles for various national and international journals. He attended, invited and presented papers at various forums both National & International levels.

The interested fields of research of Prof. Dr. Balkishan Sharma reserach Interests are biostatistics, stress, blood pressure, nutrition, lactation among post natal mothers, etc. His present research focuses on searching for stress, blood pressure difference and nutritional deficiencies among population and has been establishing significant risk factors helpful in assessment of early diagnosis of sever mortal diseases.
