Assoc.Prof. Moghaddasi has received his Ph.D. degree in Health Information Management and his Post Doc. degree in Medical Informatics at Monash University. His thesis titles in graduate and postgraduate degrees are:1) A Comparative Study on the Mechanisms of Healthcare Information Quality Control for Inpatient in USA & UK: Presenting a Proper Model for IRAN. 2) Portable problem oriented Electronic Health Record (PPOEHR). He works as an associate professor at the College of Paramedical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. He was as a vice president of faculty through 2010 to 2014; and also head of health information technology and management department through 1994 to 2017. He is the president of Iranian Association of Medical Informatics; and member of converging subgroup of Academy of Medical Sciences. Since 1988 he has work experiences in Computer science at Iran University of Medical Sciences; and Azad University of Medical Sciences. Achievements include development of research in all type of Health Informatics and Health Information System Management. He additionally conducts scholarly research activities in the fields of Standards and Assessment of Health Information System; Data Quality; Electronic Health Record (EHR); Health Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery; Health Management and Administration; Mobile Health (M-Health) Software; Electronic Health (E-Health); Clinical Decision Support Systems; and also clinical dashboard. He supervises students' theses and dissertations at master and Ph.D. levels. He has published numerous articles on Health Information Systems and Medical Informatics; and E-health in scholarly journals.
