Dr. Suman Prasad Adhikari is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences (NAIHS) and Shree Birendra Hospital- Teaching Hospital of NAIHS. He was born in Kathmandu, Nepal where he completed his basic education. He obtained his MBBS in 2010, Psychiatry postgraduate training in 2016, his alma mater being National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS). He is founder member of “Manoshastra Counseling and Research Center.”
Dr. Adhikari’s clinical and research interests include mood disorders, schizophrenia, addiction, suicide, sports psychiatry and rehabilitation psychiatry. He is the currently working as Editor of a peer reviewed, International Journal, “The Clinical Neurologist International” and “Worldwide Medicine.” He is also working as reviewer of “Journal of Addiction & Prevention (JAP).” Dr. Adhikari is a psychiatrist with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. He is also working as “Psychosocial rehabilitation specialist” in Salvation Nepal, which is a sister concern of CARITAS Nepal.
