Dr. Anwar Ullah is currently working as Assistant Professor Medical Laboratory Technology and Vice Principal Rehman College of Allied Health Sciences Peshawar Pakistan. He has done PhD in Biochemistry (Neurogenetics) from Quiad-e-Azam University Islamabad Pakistan and Heidelberg University Germany. During his PhD he worked to elucidate the genetic architecture of neurodegenerative movement disorders in Pakistani Population. He has experience in human genetic disorders of diverse pathology. After completion of his PhD he did post Doctorate from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz Germany. During his post doctorate stay Dr. Ullah was involved in the exposition of functional significance of the genes involved in neurodegenration. So far, . Dr. Ullah have published 13 manuscripts in national and international journals. He is coauthor of one text book for medical laboratory technologists. He have received several scholarships s and travel awards to present his work in some of the renowned international conferences. Additionally, he is also serving as Reviewer of journals.
Dr. Anwar Ullah research interest human genetics includes neurogenetics and genetics of other complex diseases. His research interest also expands to other ranges of medical sciences including virology, bacteriology, chemical pathology and hematology.
