Muzafar Ahmad Rather obtained his master degree in Biochemistry from Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University), New Delhi. Dr. Muzafar gained his M.Phil. in nanotechnology based drug delivery systems for tuberculosis (TB) from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar India. He finished his Ph.D. from Council of Scientific and Innovative Research-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Srinagar, India. His research interests are focused on the search for new tuberculosis (TB) drugs from the sources which include but are not limited to natural, synthetic and semisynthetic origins. The core focus is on new chemical entities for TB drug development. Dr. Muzafar has many national and international publications of high repute to his credit.
