Dr. Geeta Gahlawat is presently working as project scientist at DIHAR, DRDO, India. She obtained his Ph.D. degree from Department of Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. During PhD, she has worked on the project entitled "Microbial production of Polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) and its copolymers". She has more than 8 years of experience in fermentation and microbial technology along with bioreactor operation and their maintenance. She has systematically built a firm foundation of bioprocess engineering fundamentals to optimize any fermentation processes. She has published eleven papers in peer reviewed International Journals and presented five papers in International conferences. She has also published one book on topic ''Polyhydroxyalkanoates Polymers-Production strategies'' in Springer Nature.
