Dr. Ibrahim El-Sayed M. El-Hakim worked as a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Al-Azhar University and Ain Shams University (Egypt)- King Abdulaziz University (Saudi Arabia), Birute Arab University (Lebanon), Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy (Saudi Arabia) and Jordanian University of science and Technology (Jordan)- Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery He completed his PhD in King's College London, department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, 1990 and MSc in University of Minnesota, USA, department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He had experience in teaching oral and maxillofacial surgery for undergraduate dental students and postgraduate maxillofacial residents and also management and treating all major maxillofacial surgery cases (salivary gland diseases, facial trauma, oral cancer, and minor oral and maxillofacial surgery....etc). He got Honors and Awards (King Abdulaziz University Excellency Prize in Scientific Research and Publication, King Abdulaziz University - Jeddah in 2008, and “The Encouraging State Prize in Medical Science, Ministry of Scientific Research, Egypt †in 1999, and Overseas Research Student Prize (ORS), University of London in 1990-1988. He also serves as Editorial Board member for several scientific publishing journals.
