Prof Dr Ravi Kumar Chittoria is a renowned Plastic Surgeon, a Teacher, an Academician, Researcher, Editor, Innovator, Social Worker, Administrator and Scholar par excellence. He is born and completed his Schooling in Delhi. He did his Under-Graduation in Medicine (MBBS) from Maulana Azad Medical College Delhi, Post-Graduation in Surgery (MS) from PGIMER Chandigarh, Post-Graduation in Plastic Surgery (MCh) from Grant Medical College Mumbai, PhD (Plastic Surgery) from SVIMS University Andhra Pradesh, MBA (Hospital Administration) from National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) Tamilnadu, Post-Graduation in Telemedicine from Delhi and Diplomate National Board (DNB) from National Board of Examinations (NBE) Delhi.He received his higher training in Laser, Endoscopic & Aesthetic Surgery from Boston University and Emory University, USA. Further, he completed Course on Mesotherapy, Chemical Peel & Fillers from France and Course on Fundamentals of Clinical Trials, Epidemiology & Biostatistics from Harvard University, USA. He is recipient of more than 30 National & International Awards including Prestigious Oscars of Medicine Award (BMJ Award). He has authored 5 books and 7 Manuals, written 5 Chapters in text books, published 205 scientific papers in peer reviewed indexed journals, Editor of 7 journals, Editorial Board Member of 71 Journals, presented 54 Scientific papers, Chaired 55 Scientific Sessions, done 1 Patent & 43 Innovations, delivered 87 Guest lectures & 1 Oration, received 3 Fellowships and 2 Visiting Professorships. He is Member of more than 26 National & International Scientific Associations.
