Prof. Dr. Hector R. Diaz Aguila, received his Master of Sciences in Emergency Medicine from Cuban Ministry of Health, Havana, Cuba in 2004. He has been professor in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine at Villa Clara Institute of Medical Sciences, Santa Clara, Cuba, since January 2001. He has been professor at Virtual University of Health. Cuba, since 2005. He received the Annual National Award in Health in 2015, Cuban Ministry of Health. He has authored 123 publications in peer-reviewed Cuban and International Medical Journals. He has edited/authored 5 books and contributed 2 chapters. He served as Editorial board member/reviewer for 12 Cuban/International Medical Journals.
