Prof. (Dr.) K. Rajeshwar Reddy is a dynamic, modern and new generation microbiologist, with an innate creative interest towards biochemistry. At present he is serving Universal College of Medical Sciences, Bhairahawa, Nepal as a Professor and Head of the Department of Microbiology and possesses 32 years of continuous teaching experience in teaching Microbiology to MBBS, BDS, Nursing, Public health, Pharmacy, and Medical Laboratory technicians. He has done Master’s Degree in Medical Microbiology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Karnataka. He obtained his Ph.D. in Microbiology from Kakatiya University, Warangal, Telangana State, for his research on “Dermatophytoses and Antifungal Susceptibility Studiesâ€. He has obtained his Master’s degree in Education (M.Ed) from Karnataka State Open University and been awarded Gold Medal for obtaining state first rank. He has done research on “Attitudes of MBBS students towards Medical Professionâ€, an area pertaining to the field of Medical Education. He has been the Chairman of Research & Publications Committee and Faculty Development program at Gandaki Medical College, Pokhara, Nepal. He has been the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Gandaki Medical College-Nepal (J-GMC-N) and currently the Associate Chief Editor of Journal of Universal College of Medical Sciences (J-UCMS). In addition, he is also the of Editorial Board member of indexed journals ‘Annals of Pathology and Internal Medicine (APALM)’ and ‘Annals of Applied Biosciences’ published from New Delhi, India.
